While updating my iphone i disconnect usb cable

When you have i Tunes open, connect your i Phone to your computer using its USB cable.(You may see your computer automatically installing the necessary drivers; if so, let this run.)Once all the necessary drivers are installed, i Tunes will recognize your i Phone. In the middle of the screen, you'll see a section called "Version." This tells you what version of i OS your i Phone is running. If a newer version of the i OS is available, you'll see a button that says "Update." Click this to continue. If you see a button that says "Check for Update," that means i Tunes has not automatically found a newer version of the i OS software.

When the update process is complete, i Tunes may not give you any notification.(This is under the "STORE" heading in the left hand menu in i Tunes.) The rotating arrows show you that the download is in progress, and the number tells you how many items are being downloaded.Once the software has been downloaded, you'll see a message that i Tunes is extracting the new update and another says "Preparing i Phone for software update." You'll also see a notification that i Tunes is verifying the software update with Apple, and you may see drivers automatically installing.Note: Apple's updater is likely to suggest additional software that you can download (such as the Safari browser); none of this is necessary.

You can download it if you like, but you don't need it to update i Tunes.

Did you know that Apple often updates i OS, adding new features and cool new tools?
